This private cottage in its own tranquil garden has all amenities to support an enjoyable self catering stay. The beautifully furnished and warm cottage allows one to relax from the stresses of life and enjoy either the quieter or the more energetic pursuits on offer in the area.

Faskally is a working sheep and cattle farm that offers walks or hikes around the farm, mountain biking (Ray is a keen mountain biker), photography, birding, star gazing and near by swimming, trout fishing and horse riding.

  • 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds. Another mattress can be provided on request. The beds have electric blankets and ample warm bedding.
  • Bathroom with shower and separate bath.
  • Lounge / dining room with a fireplace (with wood and coal available). 
  • TV with DSTV enabled but please bring your own decoder
  • Kitchen with the following appliances: gas stove and oven, microwave, fridge with a small freezer, toaster, kettle, snackwich machine, washing machine. There is also ample crockery and cutlery, pots, pans, bowls etc.
  • Braai facility (with wood) and outside seating on the verandah.
  • Milk (about 1 litre of unpasteurized farm milk) is provided daily
  • Fenced garden
  • Some basic staple foods are provided ( salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar ) and a few others as it is quite a distance to get to a shop if one runs out!
  • The cottage is serviced daily
