Millard's tranquil valley boasts stunning views of the close-by mountains of the Eastern-Cape Drakensberg. The guest cottage is private, surrounded by trees and situated 30m from the Diepspruit stream, well known for its fly-fishing. This idyllic setting is the perfect place to unwind.  We offer reasonably priced, good quality self-catered accommodation and a number of outdoor activities. Social, well-trained pets are welcome (This is a working sheep & cattle farm).

Millard is perfect if you:

·          Dislike driving on dirt roads

·          Need to be in cell reception or watch T.V.

Millard's stone lodge is believed to have been built before 1900 in the Georgian vernacular and has been lovingly restored and renovated to become a comfortable "home from home". 

 
Facilities include:
  • 5 bedrooms sleeping 10 in total. 1 of the bedrooms leads to another and 2 of the rooms are en-suite
  • 2 additional bedrooms sharing bathroom in the main house are available for larger groups
  • Fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, mini electric stove and microwave
  • Lounge with open fireplace and separate dining room
  • 2 patios (one covered) and braai facilities
  • Electric blankets in all rooms as well as heaters.
  • Linen provided and fully serviced.
  • Private garden with stunning mountain views
  • River 30m away with ideal rock pool for swimming (has beach suitable for small children) and trout fishing
  • Board games and reading books
  • Video player with selection of children's videos
  • Smokers are welcome although bedrooms are smoke-free zones.
